This year, the exhibition tells the stories of two artists who share a love of travel—the traces they have left behind or are seeking to find. José Duarte comes to us from Ecuador and has settled in France, where he began his career as a visual artist. And Léo Guidez made the journey in the opposite direction, immersing himself in South America and drawing inspiration from that vibrant creative environment.
We’ve brought these two artists together to highlight these quests and the ways they’ve translated them into their work.
The exhibition will thus explore the respective artistic journeys of these two visual artists, their works influenced by South America, and the dialogue they are initiating.
