in Mers-les-Bains

The pin screen technique was invented by Alexandre Alexeïeff and Claire Parker in the 1930s. Today, only two such screens exist in the world, one in France and the other in Quebec. In the presence of Jean-Baptiste Garnero and Sophie Le Tétour, from the CNC's Heritage Department, and Florence Miailhe, one of the few filmmakers to have manipulated the screen, we'll explore this fascinating technique through a program of short films.
