The project was born from the encounter between Olivier, guitarist, and Emmanuelle, clarinettist, two complete artists, outstanding musicians, acrobats lulled by gypsy jazz and gypsy culture, living the bohemian life, moving from town to town to tell the extraordinary story of gypsy music.
Ladislava, as the band is called, is the vocalist and wind musician, while he plays the strings and keyboards. Together, in perfect alchemy and total symbiosis, they will help you discover the history of Gypsy music, its roots and its branches.
The repertoire of traditional Eastern European music blends with the great gypsy jazz classics. Brassens, Montand and Django Reinhardt are reinvented, accompanied by original compositions, dances and narrations? Ladislava takes her audience on a journey from the Picardy coast to the Balkans, via the Mediterranean basin. A (re)discovery of timeless, borderless tunes from near and far.
