The purpose of the association (owners' club) is to promote the initiation, improvement and development of water sports in all their forms, to organize water sports events and all related activities. It has been in existence for more than 20 years: created in 1999 by a group of enthusiasts who still pass on their fervor for the sea.

It has been in existence for more than 20 years: created in 1999 by a group of enthusiasts who still pass on their fervor for the sea.
If sailing is at the heart of the activity, they welcome and practice all other water sports such as motorboating
(water-skiing, wake, towed buoy, jet-skiing, windsurfing, sand yachting, canoeing, and all other water sports in general (see the activities section).
The members meet within a human-sized association, where thanks to a strong team spirit and conviviality, they can discover and share all the nautical pleasures in a remarkable and contrasted environment: to the south the succession of the magnificent white chalk cliffs, to the north the Bay of the Somme. Raids are organized (sailboats and/or motorboats) gathering members for day trips.
In addition, since the 2021 season, a Beach Point has been set up at the Eric Tabarly base as part of the "Station Nautique des Villes Soeurs". It is managed by the Sensation Large Sailing School and offers catamarans, paddles, kayaks, etc. for rent, as well as lessons given by qualified instructors.
VAOC, which has signed the charter of commitment to the Nautical Station, has also signed a partnership agreement with the Point Plage (assistance with tractor equipment, organization and safety of regattas or other nautical events).
The practice of sailing and other sports is therefore done in a safer environment knowing that it is rare to be alone on the water.
For the launching and the raising of the boats, there are 3 tractors in very good condition (recently acquired) which are at the disposal of the members.
For the rinsing of the equipment, water points are available on the parking lot and the members have access to the sanitary facilities of the Base (showers / toilets).
The association also has premises for the storage of members' equipment.
Registration and membership fees are valid for the current year. In practice, for most of the activities, the club is "open" from April to November.
